Grab a Jacket and visit the Gardner Cave, named after a bootlegger who discovered it in 1899. It's the third longest limestone cavern in Washington, located in Crawford State Park. Tours are available Memorial Day through Labor Day. The cave is filled with stalactites, stalagmites, rimstone pools and flow stone. Take in the annual August Pow Wow of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, just across the bridge in Usk, WA on the East side of the river.
